  Qt 4.4.3 Released

Oslo, 28 September 2008 - Qt 4.4.3 is now available to commercial customers and the open source community. Qt is a cross-platform application framework for desktop and embedded development. Qt 4.4.3 is now available for customer use, evaluation and open source download.

Qt 4.4.3 includes updated copyright headers, as well as updated application icons and other graphics to reflect the look and feel of the new Qt brand.  This specific release does not include bug fixes or optimizations made since the release of version 4.4.2 in September 2008. In addition to professional support, Qt commercial license holders receive regular releases as part of their annual license.  All improvements to Qt are also released to the Open Source Community through GPL editions on all platforms.

Qt 4.4.3 is a rebranding-only release. In all other aspects, it is the
same release as Qt 4.4.2. It maintains both forward and backward
compatibility (source and binary) with Qt 4.4.2, 4.4.1 and 4.4.0.

The Qt version 4.4 series is binary compatible with the 4.3.x series.
The Qt for Embedded Linux version 4.4 series is binary compatible with
the Qtopia Core 4.3.x series. Applications compiled for 4.0, 4.1, 4.2,
and 4.3 will continue to run with 4.4.

Some of the changes listed in this file include issue tracking numbers
corresponding to tasks in the Task Tracker:
