As a Software Engineer in Qt R&D your specific tasks will include:
Designing and reviewing of new APIs and framework features
Implement functionality on multiple platforms, both desktop, embedded and mobile
Profiling, optimizing and refactoring of existing code
Researching new software development concepts
Working with the community of Qt users and contributors
Collaborating with other R&D teams within Qt
Skills required:
Excellent programming skills in
C++ or a comparable object oriented language
Good understanding of OpenGL, DirectX or similar
Strong command of software development tools, preferably on multiple platforms
High personal standards and a passion for quality-driven development
Good English skills, both spoken and written
Able to explain and present technical concepts
A quick learner and willingness to share your knowledge with others
Able to build consensus and agreement in a team
Self-driven and able to work on your own
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
Participation in Open Source projects is a plus
It is an advantage if you already enjoy Qt or KDE programming
Experience with resource constrained devices or mobile is a plus
Experience with agile project management practices is a plus

graphics programming such asOpenGL and GLSL, 3D modeling, or software rasterization, and aspire tocreate high-performance code with visually stunning output.
