We have exciting Qt news to share with you.
In June 2014, the Digia board of directors announced via a stock exchange release that a new company entity for Qt under the parent company Digia Plc. would be formed.
We are happy to inform you that the new name we will operate under is The Qt Company (a wholly owned subsidiary of Digia Plc).
With The Qt Company as a separate entity, we will be able to put more focus on improving our product and better position the Qt technology in the software industry.
We will begin to immediately market Qt under The Qt Company umbrella where it will drive our marketing and communication activities.
In addition, we have launched a new website combining our commercial business and open source communities,
www.qt.io, and it will serve as our main communication channel for all things Qt replacing
http://qt.digia.com.Please note that this change in company name will
not affect our product or our daily operations.
If you are a Qt Enterprise customer, you will have the same point of contact as before. Billing information will change and we will begin invoicing from The Qt Company as of January 1, 2015. More communication with detail billing information will be sent to you before the transition.
