What you’ll be doing:
• Study next generation GPU architecture and state-of-the-art new compute features.
• Use random approach to validate and verify new GPU architecture and complicated compute features.
o Communicate with GPU architecture and compute feature designers to make random testing plan.
o Design and develop random methodology and infrastructure to generate random tests.
o Run and debug random tests in various platforms, e.g., functional simulator, emulator and silicon.
o Work with ASIC teams to identify and root-cause RTL bugs for compute features.
• Design innovative methodology, flow and tools to improve the efficiency of GPU architecture validation and verification.
• Discuss with designers of new compute features and provide feedbacks on design and implementation of future compute features.
What we need to see:
• Solid knowledge of computer science, with the focus on computer architecture.
• Good understanding of GPU concept and pipeline, with focus on compute processing and parallel computing.
• Good mastery of C++ language and at least 5 years of C/C++ development and debug experience.
• BSEE, BSCSE, or equivalent required. MS or PhD is a plus.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
• Good understanding of CUDA programming model and its latest features like UVM.
• Experience of validation and/or verification of GPU compute units and features.
• Strong passion on GPU and compute architecture validation, verification and design.
