Digia Great China has around 20 employees based in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Taipei and is the largest Qt entity within Digia in Asia territories.
About the role:The sales activity for our main product Qt and associated Consulting Services is growing fast in our major territories and Digia has a solid customer base, containing a large number of internationally well branded companies. Our customers use our tools for highly valued developments of applications in different areas such as EDA, Medical, consulting, Telecommunications, Automotive, among others.
The China Market is one of the most important markets, providing an excellent opportunity for a skilled and hungry junior professional to take responsibility for developing the Qt business in markets with strong potential.
Scope of responsibility:• Develop existing customers, via e-mail, telephone and potentially customer meetings when gaining experience.
• Look for new customers to develop.
• Define together with Marketing the necessary actions to raise Qt awareness on these markets, and take responsibility for specific campaigns to increase sales in the region.
Target experience:• Minimum 3 years’ related experience, whit an high desire and motivation to work with Sales in the IT industry
• Preferred knowledge or clear interest with the IT market and especially the software industry
• Good technical background, preferably with technical education or knowledge
• Proven track record and/or academic education on a Bachelor/Master level
• Target driven and result focused personality with a high focus on developing into a sales executive delivering against objectives and business development targets
Competencies:• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Ability to work independently whilst being a positive team player
• Excellent presentation and written reporting skills
• Pro-active customer focus
